La cremá

Esperando al 2025

La “Cremá” es el acto final de las fallas. Todo lo malo va a ser un recuerdo y vamos a intentar que lo nuevo, en este año, sea mejor para todos.

Todas las fallas arden, primero las de los barrios y la de la plaza del Ayuntamiento es el acto final. A menudo se nos pregunta si no nos parece absurdo el quemar algo que nos ha costado tanto de hacer. La respuesta es que no. Solo se conserva un “ninot” (muñeco, figura) para tener un recuerdo de el año correspondiente, el “ninot indultat” (muñeco indultado). Sobre estas cenizas ya están los falleros pensando en el próximo año, en como será la “falla”, de donde sacarán el dinero, las reuniones que se tendrán que hacer para tomar decisiones, pero siempre delante de una buena paella, entre amigos, con un buen vino de Requena, para postres fruta de nuestros campos y terminar con un “carajillo” o un “cremaet”. Y los artistas falleros comenzarán a limpiar sus talleres para hacer sitio a las nuevas “fallas”.

Las fallas no son únicamente fiestas. Son amistad durante todo el año, son arte en cada figura, en cada banda de música, en los trajes. Es alegría en los bailes, en las tracas, en los castillos, en las comidas, en la ofrenda...

Ninot indultat

The “Cremá” is the final act of the fallaes. Everything bad is going to be a memory and we are going to try to make the new, this year, better for everyone.

All the fallaes burn, first those in the neighborhoods and the one in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento is the final act. We are often asked if we don't think it is absurd to burn something that has cost us so much to make. The answer is no. Only one “ninot” (doll, figure) is preserved to have a souvenir of the corresponding year, the “ninot indultat” (pardoned doll). On these ashes the falleros are already thinking about next year, about what the “falla” will be like, where they will get the money from, the meetings that will have to be held to make decisions, but always in front of a good paella, among friends, with a good wine from Requena, for desserts fruit from our fields and finishing with a “carajillo” or a “cremaet”. And the Fallas artists will begin to clean their workshops to make room for the new “fallas.”

Falas are not only parties. They are friendship throughout the year, they are art in each figure, in each music band, in the costumes. It is joy in the dances, in the fireworks, in the castles, in the meals, in the offering...
